Forklift Training and Safety
This eight hour forklift safety training course in St. Paul includes both classroom and behind–the–wheel training. In this program, participants learn to recognize and respect the potential associated hazards and skills needed to safely operate a forklift. Students will learn about the OSHA standard (OSHA 29CFR 1910.178) that applies to Powered Industrial Trucks and the hazards present in the work environment. Proper driving techniques, proper balance for loads, center of gravity, load placement, safe fueling/recharging and completing an inspection checklist will also be covered.
